review 1: This has been an EPIC adventure for me. Contains a ton of EPIC tales and battles. The escalation from one story to another is just amazing. The plots were like endless waves of excitement. I only wish there was more to read. I salute thee Mr. Walter Simonson of Midgard for sharing with us this great tome of wonders. I cant recommend this enough. I had some luck and managed to buy this OOP book, I wish you luck new readers this is truly an amazing book.
review 2: Wow! Just finished this massive epic tome. Epic is really the best word to describe this book. Sci-fi, fantasy, action, adventure, romance, superhero, and norse mythology, are some other words that could be used to describe it, but epic fits best. Such an incredibly well crafted story. Little seeds laid... more in the very beginning become massive and intricate arcs the more you read. The pacing is great, never after reading the 1192 pages did I ever feel like I needed a break from action or feel bored because of how well laid out the stories were. Walt simonson is a genius! This is and will be for a long time my favorite book in my collection. And may I add the exceptional quality of this omnibus and how It is put together is great. A beautiful book from the outside and exciting epic story inside. less
