review 1: 4.5 starsFirst off can I just say- how beautiful is this cover? When I first bought it I literally sat there for ten minutes admiring how beautiful it looked on my shelf (#bookaddictproblems). This book is beautiful in every way. Wendy Mass does an amazing job of turning a terrible situation into a beautiful life lesson that you'll never forget. I enjoyed the different POV's. Ally, Bree, and Jack were very different characters with different backgrounds and I enjoyed seeing them become friends. Everyone should read this book at some point in their lives.
review 2: I really enjoyed the very interesting way the author used the rare event of a total eclipse to tell this story. Just as an eclipse seems to have a magical effect on the world, it also bring together t
... morehree teens who bond together to realize their own "magic". While entertaining and very cute, there were aspects of this story that I felt just did not make sense. The family members seemed to not gel together and at moments the dialogue felt rather haphazard. The friendships are tossed together rather quickly, which I think is the point...except that they feel rather superficial and less serendipitous. This makes the concept of the story less believable. less
