review 1: I really enjoyed this "women's fiction" read. I like a southern setting and admire resilience. It's a story of the friendship that evolves among 3 women, having had very different life experiences and who were strangers at the start. The concierge/private butler, Edward, is also central to the story and very likeable. A nice summer read, with lots of references to Downton Abbey, all easily recognizable if you watched the series.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. If you enjoy watching Downton Abbey, you will like this book, too.Samantha, Claire, and Brooke all live in the same building. In normal circumstances, they never would have become friends or even moved in the same circles. However, the Sunday night get-together in their building of viewing Downt
... moreon Abbey brings them together in an unexpected way. And, none of this would have been accomplished without the help and encouragement of Edward, a British transplant. If you need a fun book to read, this is it! less
