review 1: I couldn't help thinking of John Green's "The Fault in our Stars." A young girl who lives each day thinking it will be her last, a deadly cancer coursing through her body. And Cam's no proponent in miracles, especially when it comes to herself. But can a change in location change all that? Cam's mom moves her and her sister, Perry, across the country to start over, to a place called Promise. Promise is a town said to have magic healing capabilities, a promised miracle. I went on a journey of self-discovery with Cam. And I furiously plowed through the book, breathing in her story until the last page. I definitely recommend this book! A true reflection on what matters most in life, and what it means to find love.

... moreO REWATCH THE SOUND OF MUSIC.It took me around 100 pages to get into this book, but once I did I really enjoyed it. I liked the characters and the relationships a lot! I was worried the book would just be a rip off of The Fault in Our Stars but I was pleasantly surprised. I was sobbing when I finished the book, so that shows that the characters are easy to connect to. They're very loveable and I'm happy to have picked up this book, even if it wasn't my favourite. less
