review 1: It was an unbelievably brutal intense most gut wrenching, mind blowing twisted sick exciting book. It was dark and dangerous my toes curled, it was thrilling. The characters were dirty and perverted. There were some parts to be honest, I disliked, there were many times were I was like no way I can't read this but my finger betrayed me and kept tight hold of the iPad haha. The need to read more, I was lost in the dark passion of elliott and Joan. I am not in to these dark erotic books but I found this particular book to be interesting, incrediblely written yet fearing. It was a twist for me but a good twist with extra honey. I am so nervous and excited for the next book can't wait Bianca
review 2: This is a dark erotic romance from a new, talented author who sho... morews a lot of promise. Good writing, intensity and suspense, and characters who have many layers to them. I liked the story overall despite some clunky plot devices, which I am sure will be smoothed out with the help of a good editor/writing partner for her next effort. There are very disturbing themes, captivity, lack of consent to dubious consent, and a lot of violence so readers be warned if this is not the thing for you. My favorite dark romance so far has been Skye Warren's Don't Let Go. If you are a fan of her books, you will likely enjoy I know what love is. less
