review 1: Just started this book this morning. Anxious to get chores done so I can read a little more. I love the descriptions. So far this book is getting at least 4 stars. Plot hasn't moved much, but I had to quiet my giggling so I didn't disturb sleeping spouse.Just finished. It is British farce and it engages emotions. I could see Rowan Atkins acting in the lead role. Main character got a little tedious, but overall the book was enjoyable. I wanted to know what happened next.
review 2: What a funny, quirky, unique read! The dry British humor had me in stitches at some points. You wouldn't think a book about a somewhat sloppy, disheveled bloke looking after his OCD friend's flat would be so entertaining, but it is! When disaster strikes, you keep wondering how b... moread it might get - and it gets pretty crazy by the end!This is a light breeze of a book that's not terribly deep, but it manages to entertain and is written fairly well. less
