Synopsis: This sequel to the first novel, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, begins in 1940, immediately after the first book ended. Complete with dozens of newly discovered vintage photographs.
My Thoughts: I had forgotten how much I loved these characters. This book was a great sequel and thankfully it didn’t suffer from middle book syndrome. There was so much adventure in this and I loved that part of the story. I love that the use of old found pictures is continued in this book. I feel like there was quite a bit of character growth with all of the characters in this compared to the first book. Especially with Emma and Jacob. I am already reading the third book in this trilogy and I can’t wait to see how things end with this story and these characters.
