review 1: I thought this book was very well-written. I did enjoy this book even though I don't usually read mystery and stuff like that. The author did a good job developing the characters, except for Tiger. I feel like Tiger could have been a bit more developed. I know he came in within the last part of the book, but i don't think the author developed him enough so that i can have a mental image of his features.
review 2: Dark Eyes was different from other books. Suspenseful and mysterious, the book kept me on the edge of my seat. However, not unlike other books targeted for teens and young adults, the book lacked in philosophical insight and symbolism. Then again, there is not much to be expected from books such as these.
