review 1: Minus one star because I wish it were longer/more detailed, but what it did include was hilarious. On a personal note, I was thrilled to see June 28, 1997 (my wedding day) in there as the day Evander Holyfield announced that he was no longer in a relationship with his ear (Mike Tyson likes this), and I laughed out loud when Dick Cheney became fb friends with Darth Sidious and Mr. Burns. Well done.
review 2: Do not read this if you are sensitive about, well, anything. You *will* get offended. Some harsh jokes aside, I thought this was a funny, sometimes even hilarious, overview of historical (not always factual) events. The more events you recognize, the funnier! The book is geared mostly towards an American audience though, so some jokes might just fly right ... moreover your head (I for instance could care less about the Superbowl, so just ignored those updates). less
