review 1: This definitely wasn't what I expected when I downloaded this book. I wasn't expecting a happily ever after, but what I got was so out of the ordinary that I was stunned. The grammar could have used some work. If the author were to hire an editor, I have no doubt that this book could be a hit. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. The plot was interesting, the characters were intriguing, and the pace was nice. It was an easy read. With that being said, I'll also add this... This book isn't for everyone. If you're looking for a romance with a happily ever after, or even a romance with acts of affection and love, you might not like this book. BUT, I'd give it a chance anyway. You might be surprised at how quickly you get sucked into the story.I'll definitely be looking into ... moreother books by the author and wouldn't even mind chatting with her. This story shares some elements with a book of my own, Loving the Cult. I think this woman has definite talent and I look forward to reading more of her work.
review 2: this is not a romance. Its a dark erotica psychological fiction. The hero is crazy. He's not really a hero. The main male protoganist is the right description. Again, this is a not a romance. Don't expect it. The ending is shocking. Not a romance. No redemption. Nothing good comes from this journey into a psychopatic serial killer mind.It gets five stars because it is deeply compelling and very well told. less
