review 1: A splendid manga with an atmosphere of suspense similar to that of Agatha Christie's detective novels. It also posses some other factors such as, gore, horror, romance, psychological struggles, fantasy, and, unfortunately, fanservice. All of these elements_aside from the fanservice_warp perfectly with the magic and occult aura of Beatrice: The Golden Witch in her isolated island, while the few temporary survivors try to figure out the identity of sadistic murderer amongst them. Totally worth reading. Two funny things I noticed by the end of this volume. Firstly, Beatrice is a name with latin origins and the meaning of "she who brings happiness" lol, I googled it. Secondly, the way how Battler-kun was trying to deduce that all the horrible happenings are done by a mere huma... moren being and no incident is magic-related; is somewhat similar to a person who is living in Wonderland and plans to explain everything with sheer logic! However, I kinda liked that resistance in him, and excited for the next episode and the new Witch.
review 2: Think Agatha Christie meets Manga. It definitely had the creepy witch, on a deserted island, no one can save you now! feeling but it was really well done. I would definitely recommend for Manga lovers, but there is quite a bit of Fan-Service which turned me off the book at times.
