review 1: Fans of New Adult romance will love the newest offering from A Meredith Walters. This gripping and emotional story about a good girl who falls for a bad boy hooked me from the prologue. Lead Me Not deals with very real issues plaguing college students. Drugs and addiction. Aubrey's life has been turned upside down because of drugs. She's trying to right the wrongs from her past by becoming a counselor. Until Maxx walks into one of her group sessions. She's intrigued and drawn to him. But Maxx has some ugly skeletons hiding in his closet and their attraction could ruin Aubrey's chosen career path.I really enjoyed Lead Me Not, Walters has created a story that evokes all your emotions. I wanted to yell at these characters, I wanted to cry with these characters and I wanted th... moreem to find their HEA. This is the first book in this new series. It has a bit of a cliffhanger but also leaves you in a good place and makes you crave more. I cannot wait to see how the rest of Aubrey and Maxx's story plays out in the next book.~ Erin, 4.5 stars
review 2: 5 stars!!! I only have one thing to say: "It was easy to not think about Aubrey when I was high. If addiction was consuming, so was lust. And desire. Being with Aubrey had the potential to eradicate that other Maxx completely. But I couldn’t let him go. I needed him. And I was scared that the day would come when I would need Aubrey just as badly. It would be a fight to the death. And it was a fight that I didn’t think I could win." Now we'll see what happens after this book!! I can't wait to read more... *sighs* less
