review 1: I could NOT get past the me me me Meg and her assumption that her BFF would be setting her up w/ a guy! Really? Then of course Trey feeling that he must protect poor me Meg from that manipulative so called BFF Sadie. Did no one ever put two and two together in this story? Trey just makes assumptions, Sadie can't speak up, Daniel seemed like a misleading user who was willing to sleep w/ Sadie until he sets eyes on Meg and then he still doesn't get it, and Meg well, she makes assumptions too!! I wish that Sadie would have spoken up and I was looking forward to a bit of a talk w/ Sadie and Meg and those other two turkeys as well. I just wanted her to get it and say something to Sadie who felt like Meg always got what she wanted - possibly because everyone hands it to... more her!
review 2: I'm usually a sucker for cute reads like this, but this one just didn't do it for me. I thought the pot had potential, but the storyline was just awful.I didn't really like Sadie's or Trey's character, even though I really wanted to. Sadie was a nutcase, and Trey's a jerk - which was the premise of the book, but their characters weren't written successfully. And they lacked chemistry to me. I'm sure they had chemistry, but I felt the writing lacked in portraying that chemistry.I really wanted to like it, I really did - but I just didn't. less
