review 1: I liked the story overall, but I think I read at least the first half of it with a scowl on my face. He was so mean to her! He thought he was getting the pretty sister, not the ugly one, and tells her so. Then he avoids her, and refuses to love her even after he falls for her. He made me mad.But I love her retaliation! She finds ways to make him pay attention, and even love her and think she's beautiful.Cute story. Perfectly clean.
review 2: 4 starsI love regency romances and Abby Gaines was perfect at it.Marcus Brookstone, Earl of Spenford wants to marry a girl for a bargain he made with God for his sick mother. He chooses one of the parson's daughters (one he had seen before, a beautiful girl who had said her name was Constance). Once he made the offer t
... moreo her father he goes to London to his mother and comes back only minutes before the wedding. As he makes his vows and lifts the veil to kiss his bride he realizes he married the wrong sister! The plain and stubborn sister.I loved Constance, she was kind and compassionate.I liked the way the romance evolved. I liked watching them getting to know each other and falling in love.I didn't like the fact that although Marcus was in love with his wife he was too proud to admit it and made her go! At that moment I would've slapped him if I had him in front of me.I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fun and CLEAN regency romance books! less

This book was really funny, I loved the bantering between the two main characters.
