review 1: Six Stars! Fantastically original, loved it loved it loved it. My now all time favourite Abby Green story.Amazing plot! Original Plot.... I'm not even finished and I want to write a review. 6 Stars! Jesse is the bravest little thing I've ever come across. I cant wait to see how everything pans out and I LOVE the Pinterest board for this story xxUpdate: Definite must-have story! It's of Luc holding Jesse in the shower. It was really emotive to me and I found the scene in the book was just as emotive. Jesse kidnaps Luc for reasons he completely misunderstands because Jesse lets him misunderstand her reasons and from there I was thrown onto a roller-coaster of a ride that I didnt want to hop off.Do not read this book if you're going to be interrupted, you'll crave to finish it.I loved the ending, what a fantastic little twist.The Pinterest board is a fantastic pictorial of the story. If you weren't aware of them I urge you to pay a visit now... it will help tie you over until Abby Green's next release :)
review 2: This is an intensely emotional read. It's no wonder Abby Green is a fav author of mine. I was hooked from the first page and I couldn't stop reading till the end.This book has it all. Strong and very well developed characters, spicy banter, exquisite setting, scorching passion and intense emotions. Even the cover is just fabulous. The title says it all. But if you think it's a plain revenge story, you ll be in for a big surprise. A pleasant surprise, may I add. I liked the fact that the h, Jesse, is rich and successful in her own right. She is considered an IT genius. She has survived her traumatic childhood but it had affected her immensely. What kept her going is the sweet idea of revenge. She is almost there. The only obstacle that stands between her and her plan for revenge is the very powerful - and very gorgeous - businessman Luc Sanchis. What a pixie- sized, vulnerable-looking girl can do to overcome an obstacle of "six feet four of hard, muscle-packed, angry testosterone"? Kidnap him of course !! And now Luc has his own plan and it includes....seduction!! And retribution ?!Definitely recommended. less
