review 1: Slow starting but by chapter three, I didn't want to put it down. Shows how an experience (in this case loosing family members to tornado) can have different effects on people and how a mindset can change based on love.While part of a series, book is easily read as a stand alone. Didn't even realize it was part of a series until reading the author notes at the end.As per FTC rules, this book was sent to me as part of the Goodreads First Reads program.
review 2: This book turned out to better than what I expected. The first part was really great and I got worried throughout the middle. I felt at times that the story drug out a little too much then about 70% into the book it started getting really great again. The chemistry between Mac and Gayle was fabulous. Bo... moreth hurt and grieving from the past they both try to move on and find comfort in one another. Mac an MMA fighter leaves Kansas to go help out a friend little did he realize he would get more than he bargained for. Gayle a free spirit fly by the seat of your pants girl reeled him in hook line and sinker. It took him a while to surrender to her but in the end love was found in the eye of the storm less
