review 1: Oh good grief, this book was better than the last one. However....it's clear from the start who the well-placed-boyfriend is and of course he waits until it's to late to change anything and than feel's guilty over it.I guess my problem with this series is that it's like the same things over and over....Holden gets a new body...again and again, Chloe is constantly threatening Skyla, Skyla gets betrayed once more, etc...My favorite part of the series thus far is when Ezrina takes over Skyla's body, that whole monologue is funny.Well....I honestly do not feel like reading the next one since it will most likely be Gage, Logan, and Marshall professing their love for Skyla. She will forgive and forget the past and walk back into the hell she puts herself though. Forgive...yes... more, forget....no-she really needs to learn this lesson. I don't even know why this war is happening in the book....I mean the actual war part of the book has been like 3 lines. What war? I expected to have actual battles scene monologue....instead it is all petty high revenge with characters who have been offed coming back to life and plotting the same crap all over again.
review 2: Okay this whole who should she love thing is still grating my nerves, she love Logan she loves Gage and then there is Marshall on the side where she toys him around but once she opens her big mouth and makes empty promises she run to him to try to bail him out and using his affection for her to try to sway him to help her. ALso there is Brielle who is already looking like she will not be a good mother and her step bro who could care less about the mother of his future child. Really these are the morals that are being taught in book and to claim the main chacaters as part angels no less, I swear this author is painting an awful picture here, but I will read the next three books because I just want to know how this series ends and what happens once the war is over. less

I started out liking the series, but there is only so much back and forth I can take. The books where too high school drama for me. I have a definite touch of OCD and when I start to read a series or trilogy, even if I don'r like it, I have to finish it. I wish the author had condensed these books into three or four instead of 7+, which she could have definitely done. This series is why I have been sticking to trilogies. If high school craziness mixed with angels and demons are your thing, you will probably love it.

An iffy 3.5 stars... So I rounded to 4 stars... This author definitely knows how to end a story, but throughout I often times get a tad bit bored... I get that they are teens and love is so much more extreme at that age but... I don't need to hear "I love_____" twenty million times! After 6 books, I get it!! You're in love with three men/boys AND you're going to end up marrying one if not all of them!! I get it!! Ugh...
