review 1: This book is a decent quick read if you have nothing else to read. I picked it up at a bargain price which is probably all I would pay for it. Most of the book takes place in the view of both 75 and 29 year old Ellie. These sections were light and fun and fluffy. The parts taking place with Ellie's daughter and best friend were painful to read through. The daughter was unbearably mean for no real reason. The conflict between Ellie and Barbara seemed added in for drama but they never really seemed at odds with each other.Overall I would recommend if you enjoy chick lit.
review 2: I didn't finish this book to be honest. I think I got 1/4 of the way through and no offense to the author, I loved the concept but I just got bored and didn't care enough about the char
... moreacters to continue reading. The first part of the book really did have an impact on me and it made me think about the self and how the self is perceived in today's society and in the past as it was for the protagonist. It made me realize the urgency of living your life how you want to and taking care of yourself. It was like looking into a possible future and strengthened my resolve and health goals for me. Even though I didn't finish it, I have to thank this book for that. :) less

Fun, quick read. I wish at 25 I got to spend the day with my Grandma when SHE was 25.
