review 1: Sounded like a really fun premise, but had poor execution and poor editing. Ellie is completely self-centered. As miserable as she is even being rich and gorgeous (both of which are pointed out on almost every page in the book), I shudder to think that her personality would have been even more dreadful were she a typical middle class average-appearing woman. As this book points out, one thing we can get back is time - please don't waste yours on this book!!
review 2: Story is very predictable, and overall just ho-hum. Initially it caught me off guard. I expected the story to be about a 29 year old living her life to the fullest, not what the actual story was about. I was also disappointed in the relationship between many of the characters. Like a previous revie... morewer before me, I was on a mission to finish the book for the sake of finishing it.....not because I wanted to. Not the worst book I've read, but I would definitely never recommend it. less
