review 1: Beyond pissed off!!! Seriously, explain to me why a complete novel couldn't have been written.? We're now paying $2.99 for a chapter in this story. Which by the way is as close to plagiarism as you can get. Surprised the characters' names aren't Christian and Anna to tell you the truth.The writing is good which is what is so aggravating! I don't know who advised the author to string us all along in novellas, maybe it's a complete money thing, but please don't ever listen to them again. I really don't care what happens to these characters if the next novella doesn't wrap the story up. I was willing to pay $9.99 for each book in the 50 Shades AND The Crossfire trilogies, but if this pattern continues the sscond hand story in this series might cost me more! Again, the writin... moreg is good although not original ideas. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. I am out if the next one isn't the final issue. My fingers are crossed.
review 2: This is by far my favorite book from the "Lace Series"!!!! I absolutely loved it..!! Carter was beyond amazingly romantic!!!! I can't go into the details as to why he made me swoon even more without revealing any spoilers, but my-oh-my..!!! Wow!! Simply, WOW!!Regarding the similarities with FSoG and Crossfire, this book took a different direction so it kept the storyline refreshing. There were more steamy and passionate sex scenes which are always a plus in my opinion. And regarding the ending... all I can say is.. I-need-the-4th-book!!!!! Desperately!!! March, can you get here any quicker!!!????? Please!!!! Once again, I have to say, if you're looking for a short & steamy romance, the Lace Series is perfect for you!! less
