review 1: First off, and most importantly, Adriane Leigh is a very strong writer and I like her style. This story however, just wasn't for me. Sadly, I kept skipping parts of it and found myself not caring.I liked Wild a great deal and was hoping for Ridger to redeem himself somehow in this book. It just never happened. He was an asshole throughout the story, except the last 10% and by then it just wasn't believeable that he could be anything but. He treated Amy and Mia like shit, yet they kept coming back! Jesus, grow some backbones ladies!He was also a coward;a huge one! And I can't stand that in anyone, real or fictional. Grow some balls and tell the truth instead of screwing around.However, this has nothing to do with her writing and it'll not keep me from reading her other book... mores. This story just wasn't my cup of tea... :)
review 2: holy intense read batman!!! the smuttt was off the chart!! *****SPOILER*****I'm torn. I ABHOR cheating in a book. It rips my guts out. I cried and cried in this journey. RIDGE broke my heart!! Then he made me cheer for him!Lots of tears. and enough smiles to make me want to finish it..... I think I might read the next one, Slade coming soon, just because I want to know how Ridge and Mia are doing. less
