review 1: I usually enjoy her writing, but I was very disappointed with this book. Most of the scenes in this book were from the previous three books in this series, it was like the author didn't know what to do, so she took from the other books and just added a little bit to it. This book is the worst that I have read from her so far, all the others were well written. I feel like she wasted two very good characters. I hope that she does much better with Stanley's story.
review 2: The book is about five fraternity brothers who are die hard bachelors who’s hearts are captured by that one special woman. The two books I read previous to this one paints a picture that the men do not discriminate and will sleep with any woman. Charlie (from Sinful Chocolate) has slept wit
... moreh half the female population in Atlanta however Giselle wins his heart (how I don’t know because she didn’t do anything that you know another sister hasn’t tried). Trust me when I say that was a stupid story. In the story about Charlie and Giselle we meet Giselle’s sister Anna. Anna had a major crush and it was kinda implied that she was one of the many who slept with Charlie however we learn that is not true. She simply had a crush on him. What we do learn about Anna is that she has been abused and has suffered one bad relationship after another. In my Only Desire, Anna’s story starts with a back in the day college flashback. So basically she and Tristan (the next the last frat brother) got together after she sees Charlie hook up with her roommate. They have wild sex and he doesn’t call so she absolutely hates his guts. QUESTION!!!! How come we never heard anything about them in Charlie and Giselle’s story? Before you answer that it wasn’t about Anna and Tristian my response is why not? The author dedicates numerous (kindle clicks) pages to everyone else story. She even goes so far as to regurgitate what was said in other books as well as what was said in the college flashback. So why do I think this was NOT a goodread? For one the story was lame – the real story started in the beginning and then after you move from the college flashback into current time it’s a wrap. It doesn’t pick up flow until they are at the cabin and by the time they get to the cabin the story is over in like 2 kindle clicks (I’m exaggerating). Secondly, the girlfriends were not real. Who makes their friends return to a party when they just had a traumatic event (witness their crush “Charlie” grinding upon some other girl). Constant man bashing (like really – she needs new friends). Thirdly, she couldn’t stand up to her sister, she had to go on the camping trip because how could she say no (like this, “NO”). I wanted to choke her sister for talking about how wonderful her life is knowing that her sister is part of the “I HATE MEN” bookclub group. And if she suffered all this abuse like you said in the Charlie and Giselle book, how come this wasn’t mentioned.Over all, the book had potential but the author didn’t take story line where it could have went to make another Body Heat. I really enjoyed Body Heat minus the regurgitation of prior characters.I believe I’ll pass on the next book by this less
