review 1: Saya suka dengan pesannya, Man Jadda Wajada, siapa yang bersungguh-sungguh akan berhasil. Saya juga suka dengan cara penulis menjelaskan sesuatu. Deskripsinya baik, bahasanya indah. Selain itu, membaca novel ini saya jadi memahami sedikit bahasa Arab dan kehidupan dalam pesantren. Baru tahu ada pesantren yang begitu majunya dengan mewajibkan setiap muridnya berbahasa Inggris dan Arab. Guru-gurunya inspiratif dan mampu mendorong murid-murid untuk menggapai cita-cita.
