review 1: Madison has lost everyone that she’s ever cared about. Sawyer doesn’t believe in love or relationships. The two of them meet at a hotel bar on the day that Madison buries her brother and is dumped by her boyfriend. Feeling alone and unwanted, she propositions Sawyer to spend the night with her. Fast forward many months later, Madison has now returned home to care for her niece, Peyton. Madison and Sawyer are both shocked to see one another at a school event she and Peyton attend to meet Peyton’s new teacher – Sawyer, who feeling a need for a change, relocated from LA to Indiana. They soon realize that their attraction to one another is still there and they begin a relationship. Has Madison finally found someone who won’t leave her? Will Sawyer finally realize th... moreat not all women are out to trap him and that love does exist?I wanted to like this book more than I did. Unfortunately, it was just okay for me. I feel that there were too many subplots going on, some of which I feel weren’t fully developed and others just seemed unnecessary.
review 2: I really enjoyed this story. The blurb caught my attention and I immediately felt that I needed to read it. I loved just about everything. Some of it seemed a bit too much, but for the most part it was a really good story, I liked the authors writing style and liked most of the characters. I will definitely read more from this author in the future, I'd even like to read more concerning these same characters. less
