Meskipun masih menggunakan first person POV, watak Zainal 'dibongkar' seadanya. "I feel the rolling thunder to my fingertips" (Santa Esmeralda (You're My Everything)) begitulah yang dirasa lewat menghadam emosi Kay dan Nal.Definitely, karya terbaik Aisya Sofea.
review 2: This is how the story goes which is
... more by far so predictable, I bet almost everyone can guess it, this is how the story goes:First of good boy meets a spoiled rich bad girl, they fell in love and then the bad girl turns good. Then they hate each other than they love each. Then they want to get married but their parents doesn't agree but they did it anyway. Then the rich girl's dad threatened him to leave her, to break off his scholarship deal (and yes that was the reason he left the girl)and so he left, leaving her heavily pregnant.A few years later she had a baby, oh yeah did I mentioned she went crawling back to her parents after her parents said no about their marriage, and then in those few months of her pregnancy, she filed a divorce, which was carefully plotted by her that, and so her husband signed it and now she is a single, sad, broken down, mom who keeps on bringing up her past when EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE FREAKING BOOK KEEPS ON SAYING TO MOVE ON AND STOP THINKING ABOUT IT! Then her xhusband came back a few years later, while she was engaged with her best friend. Her ex-husband wanted to meet his daughter because he missed her and he found out about her somewhere in a magazine. At first she didn't permit him to speak or see her, and then after some sweet talking with her, she actually allowed him. And this was a bittersweet part of the story which I think came out from lgmh story, it goes like this Misya the character's daughter, put on this beautiful dress, and she wore that dress so that her father won't leave her ever again. When he actually met his daughter, he was thrilled and happy blah blah blahHer mom's love grew on her ex-husband, blah blah blah~Then her so called fiancé, broke of the engagement so that she could be with him, blah blah blah~then her ex-husband, proposed to her again. Blah blah blah~ then they have another baby together, blah blah blah~and the rest, I think you should figure it out easily.I don't have any problems with Aisya Sofea's writing and language but I do have a problem for the storyline of this book. But I am looking forward for more of her books but I really wish those books of hers are seriously not SO predictable. less
