review 1: Poor Karma has experienced a rather bizarre upbringing which only seems to have enriched laid back attitude to everything going on around her. Her dad, Garrett is probably much more calmer about the prospect of his daughter giving up her virginity to a stranger than most dads would be. Jax is that lucky stranger but it doesn't go according to Karma's plan of being a one night stand when he finds out the truth. Jax makes her a deal to do the deed if she will allow him three weeks of "hands off dating" while they tick off items of her made-up bucket list. Unintentional Virgin is a fast sweet read that will get you laughing out loud throughout. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
review 2: This was decent. I needed a diversion from D... morereamfever, which is awesome but dark and heavy. This was pretty mindless, but I had some issues with the plot. Karma has a lot of good qualities, but the way she talks and thinks about sex isn't one of them. For being a virgin, I really felt like she made sex feel cheap. I loved her dads, and her mom was awful, but that's what we're supposed to think about her. I liked Jax a lot. It's nice that he decided on the three week rule, since most guys would not ever do that. The problem I had with Karma and Jax together was that their connection was so superficial. I don't really know what Jax saw in Karma at the beginning that made him so into her besides her looks, because their interaction didn't go much further than that. All in all, I think this author has potential but could use a little better verbiage and work on improving the superficial connections of her main characters. less
