review 1: Eh. This book was alright, I guess. Even though the majority of hours spent reading this book was boring, I couldn't quite put it down. Towards the last 20-50 pages I was granted unmanageable vision due to my teary-eyes. In saying this, I didn't shed at tear, much to my eyes' dismay. Overall, I must admit Betts has done a good job writing this novel. It said to be believed that writing a novel based around diseases such as cancer is quite a difficult challenge. This is due to all the facts and stats you need to know prior to writing a novel about someone with cancer. But all in all, I'd give this book a 3/5 star. xxx
review 2: Ok so I had mixed feelings about this book. Like REALLY mixed feelings. Before reading it, all I knew was it was supposed to be an Austra
... morelian Ripoff of TFIOS. I started it, and immediately I liked Zac. He was just a good character, down to earth and relatable. The beginning was great. I mean it. Then, in part 2, Mia comes in and wow. I just couldn't stand her. I don't know if it was meant to be that way but she just seemed like such a brat. How she treated her mom, her attitude towards everything.. I wanted to tell her to get over herself. I understand that her life was pretty bad but it wasn't horrible. She had it better than Zac who was looking at the positive side of life even if his chances were worse than hers. In general, this book was a first, but I do see where the whole TFIOS ripoff thing comes from. I did get feelings from the book, but not all of them and some bad ones. My rating would be 3.5, but please tell me what you think!! less

Same vein as Fault in our Stars, but not quite as good. I liked Zac. I tolerated Mia.

I wasn't a big fan of Mia but I loved Zac and his sense of humor.
