review 1: I don't often write reviews but this book warrants an advisory: Even though it's free it's not worth your time. Without giving away any spoilers the heroin and hero for both unrealistic characters. The heroin of the story was not only bitter, angry, and unintelligent her narrative and dialogue were prosaic and often lacking. The hero was only marginally better but not by much. The development of their relationship doesn't make sense because the it seems as if there are missing pieces to the story. Also the plot devices were often unrealistic, e.g. A state prosecutor mistakenly trusting an FBI impersonator. Honestly there was just so much wrong it's too much to write it all down. The story use was good, the execution was terrible. A good beta reader and editor would have go... morene a long way here.
review 2: What can I say, the story had a lot of potential but it was written poorly. There were so many errors that could have been avoided with a little more proofreading. There was a complete lack of focus throughout the book and it was really all over the place. I was so sure that any moment I was going to hit a spot that said "SQUIRREL". Its like trying to keep up with a three year old on a sugar high.Michael is a borderline stalker determined to protect Anna from her serial killer stalker. His ego and pushy attitude had irritated most of the time. Anna basically was nothing more than a clueless woman with no common sense that no man could resist.Not very impressed with this one. less
