review 1: I liked the actual story, but I was a little annoyed with the mystery part. The killer was revealed too soon (although I actually figured out who it was before it was revealed for so) and then the characters were pursuing other people. It was frustrating watch the characters be so sure they know who the killer is and to know they were completely wrong and that the killer was right there the and playing games with them the entire time. Despite that, I did enjoy the characters and the story; I just wished the author kept her audience guessing more.
review 2: I’ve just begun reading Alexa Grace’s work, and I am really enjoying it. She’s a very talented author. Her suspense romance novels are well-written, fast paced, action-packed, suspenseful mystery ... morebooks. She blends just the right amount of romance into it but it never overwhelms and takes away from the story. Very hard to put down! I wanted to keep reading.Deadly Relations is the third of her Deadly Trilogy and it was as good as the first two. Loved the characters of Blake and Jennifer. We already knew what Jennifer went through in the last book, but now we see how she’s grown and worked through it. Blake was the perfect overprotective alpha male that I love reading about. The mystery of who the serial killer was, was a real who-done-it until the end. I highly recommend the Deadly Trilogy and will definitely keep reading books by Alexa Grace. less
