review 1: I read both the first and second book back to back, so this review is for both. The only way I can think to describable this book is - it's a hot mess. Now I enjoyed this book, enough that I even went on to read the second one. I would consider them a decent page turner. With that said, this is one of the most not believable and confusing books I've read(for this genre.) When I say confusing I don't mean I don't understand what's going on. I mean it just doesn't make ANY sense why almost any of the characters would do what they did. I can't tell you how many times I went back and reread a few pages because it just made no sense why they would do that. I was hoping I somehow missed some information, but nope. I get sometimes someone might have to do something that makes you... more go "what" to keep the storyline going, but it happened throughout the whole book. This book is a decent book as long as you don't think about what you're reading and just enjoy it for what it is. Also, and I don't say this often, the more the story went on- the more and more I disliked the main female character. *I'm using this same review on both the first and second book because it fits for both.
review 2: 3.5 StarsI received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.I fell in love with this series after reading book one, Deadly Crush. I was extremely happy when I was contacted to read Deadly Mates. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as Deadly Crush, I found it to be a lot of back and forth between characters. Also I didn't find it to be as action packed either, until the very end. I think that there was also a bit too much filler. I'm still excited to read the third book because I want to know what will happen now. less

I enjoyed Deadly Mates more than I did Deadly Crush. Can't wait to read the last in this trilogy.

Annoying female lead. Scrambled anti-feminist plot. Terrible role models. Disappointing.

Enjoyable read for those craving a story that features wolves.
