review 1: 4 stars(May contain spoilers)In my opinion this book was pretty good.It wasn't all romance and lovey dovey kind of thing.But I wouldn't have ended the book like the way it did.Characters:Jade: She was her own person and I loved to see her stand up to Aidan even though she was SUPER attracted to Aidan. Jade was her own person and wasn't controlled by the alpha so easily which I loved about her!!!!! I hardly ever see books with a character like this and I wish there were more people like jade.Aidan: I loved that Aidan wasn't thinking about jade every waking second of the book, but I also wished that he would've payed more attention to jade during the school scenes but other than that I loved how he was so determined and sure that jade would win him in the games.Dominic: at f... moreirst I thought “ wow Dominic is so kind to her after what Erika did" but that changed after I found out what actuall happened. When I heard what happend between Dominic and jade I was like what the heck Dominic that was a stupid move pushing jade away like that after the story progressed a little more he didn't sound like the jerk face he was when he turned into a wolf.Overall I liked this story a lot I was on the edge of my seat most of the time and always wondering what is going to happen next.
review 2: I read both the first and second book back to back, so this review is for both. The only way I can think to describable this book is - it's a hot mess. Now I enjoyed this book, enough that I even went on to read the second one. I would consider them a decent page turner. With that said, this is one of the most not believable and confusing books I've read(for this genre.) When I say confusing I don't mean I don't understand what's going on. I mean it just doesn't make ANY sense why almost any of the characters would do what they did. I can't tell you how many times I went back and reread a few pages because it just made no sense why they would do that. I was hoping I somehow missed some information, but nope. I get sometimes someone might have to do something that makes you go "what" to keep the storyline going, but it happened throughout the whole book. This book is a decent book as long as you don't think about what you're reading and just enjoy it for what it is. Also, and I don't say this often, the more the story went on- the more and more I disliked the main female character. *I'm using this same review on both the first and second book because it fits for both. less
