review 1: WOW! This is the first short story I've read in a loooong time and it was definitely thought provoking and beautiful! It's poetic, deep, HOT *fans self* and hopeful! It leaves you guessing, what happens with the reckless star and this woman who find a connection? As a reader, I'd love another snippet of these characters. It would be interesting to see how the story would unfold with the hypnotizing lead singer and this curious woman. The rock idol seems more than a little lost and vulnerable and you can't help but think maybe this woman can give him the splendor he's looking for... What a GREAT PIECE!! Alexandra's talent is shown in this short story and I'm very excited for her next project, Starlight, which is a FULL length novel!

... moreologize for taking far too long to review the galvanizing short story, Gilded Cage. Alexandra Richland's descriptive writing style allows the readers to feel as if they are seeing and experiencing it themselves. There is a shocking surprise turn left me sitting with my mouth agape. Wondering how I didn't see that coming. But the one thing that has stayed with me and leaves me wanting more is Miss Richland's final paragraph. Wow, loved it!! less
