review 1: my 4 year old needs 3 stories read to her before she will go to sleep. she has a vast selection of books and she occasionally changes the nights menu. Fine as we are is ALWAYS on the list. it is her favorite and when Daddy is sick she reads it to me (and gets every word right). we have our own little gestures like slapping the book when he jumps on the lily pad, or making a swimming gesture with hands when hes chasing the fish.. a lovely book that always ends with loving hugs. Little Frog deals with his negative emotions as hegains "lots and lots" of little brothers and sisters at once andeventually learns to appreciate his changing relationship with hismother, all his new siblings and his role of big brother. Children willenjoy poring over the illustrations of the "lots and lots" of littlefrogs with antics and facial expressions worthy of detailed attention byyoung readers. less
