review 1: I like the way the the author takes an inexperienced girl and introduces her to the lifestyle. Like viewing it for the first time all over again. The scenes were hot, and I love the way she describes not only what is happening but also the emotion and reason behind each scene.I would have liked to know a little more about Aly's character....guess I will be looking at the rest of this series. :)
review 2: Heroine is a financially successful 24-year-old children's picture book author. Hero is a mid-30s tow-truck operator who is apparently also rich. I'm having such a hard time with the economics of this I barely have any time to grumble about the actual plot and prose.Hero is some kind of magic small-town BDSM wizard. His basement is full of sex accessories. Th... moree heroine wanders down there after getting her car towed by him. Sex happens - but it is much less interesting than you'd imagine the actual sex two people who don't know each other would have in a BDSM basement would be. Then, the next morning, some woman the BDSM wizard is casually involved with drops by and the heroine freaks out and bails. And so did I, at 35% or so. I should know, at this point, that the type of BDSM book that is kind of fluffy and silly is just not my jam. less
