review 1: Leigh ruined this book hands down. Not looking forward to reading that when it comes, which is a shame cause I used to like the Nathan character. Also wondering what was up with the attitudes of the couples from the prior two books. Left me disliking the previous books because of how they acted in this one. Hopefully the next books will be better. I did enjoy the set up scenes for some of the other characters. As long as its not Leigh.
review 2: Trey and Sadie have one of those romances that always bring a heady intensity to the pages of any book. It is the forbidden romance. In the Alpha and Omega series vampires and shifters do not mix, they certainly do not mate. The magical abilities that all vamps have can allow them to control a shifter. That alone goes a
... moregainst everything that a shifter stands for. Trey is the alpha of his pack. He is there to protect them and give them the support they need. A pack can’t trust an alpha who could be under the control of a vamp. The tables are stacked against Sadie and Trey before they even get started. Theirs is a romance that is just teeming with problems certain to make them fail as a couple. The pack needs strength and stability now more than ever. The Shepherd’s still want all shifters dead. There is a missing relic that can cause problems of unknown proportions. The turmoil keeps intensifying and all indicators point to something monumental on the horizon. One of the key players in this world is taking a hiatus to deal with his own mess of a mating. The last thing the pack wants is a vampire, any vampire that they know nothing about as a species in their mix. And that is exactly what the alpha and the beta have full intentions of doing, bring vamps into the pack. I am completely intrigued by the epilogue. It revolved around a character that has been so far in the background that I didn’t think he would even be considered for a book. Yet the more I read into those few pages there definitely seems to be more to him that I ever suspected. I’m looking forward to where Hunter is taking him. If it goes the way I suspect then he will turn out to be my favorite type of character to read. I just love it when the person who has their own motives for everything take center stage. Those are always the most fun to read. He has presented himself as an almost villain for the most part. less
