review 1: This book is the second from the author of "Stay", and I enjoyed this book every bit as much. Jenny is a thirtysomething PR assistant who goes to a conference for work at a fancy hotel in Seattle and falls into a murky situation. Reeling from disappointing relationships (with her boyfriend, her mother, her father, her best friend), Jenny is mistaken for Jessie Morgan at that hotel where a high school reunion happens to also be taking place. Not really given a chance to explain herself, she gets swept up in what used to be Jessie Morgan's life and her friends from high school, begins to form bonds with these people, and starts to discover who she really is and who she really wants to be. I really liked this character and could identify with her, and although she takes t... morehis situation a bit too far, it is fiction and I recommend this book as much as I do "Stay".
review 2: Jenny, an account executive for a marketing firm, goes out of town for a conference. There is a high school reunion taking place in the same hotel becomes and Jenny is mistaken for an old classmate named Jessie. Since Jenny would rather be someone else right now she becomes Jessie for the next week, has a great time with "old friends" but has to come clean in the end. Everybody deals with some demon memories and learns something about themselves. This is my book club's choice for November meeting, or I probably would not have stuck with it. Good idea, just was hard for me to get through. less

Predictable but cute. Who wouldn't want to be someone else for a week if given the chance
