review 1: This is by far the best book of the series in my opinion. It is very intense, happy, sad, dangerous.. so many words could describe this book. I, honestly, will probably read this book again; it's such a great story! I would recomend this book to all ages. Maybe for the 14-20 (or a little older) range for people who should read this. Younger ones can read it too, but it may be very confusing to those little ones since there is some stuff that I didn't get myself. But overall, it is a great book and probably one of my favorites so far.
review 2: 4 stars instead of 5. I really hate doing that but this book was a bit of a let down. Let's be honest - the only reason you wanted to read the third book in the series was to see who Cassia chooses. Have you read the Dive... morergent books? You know how excruciatingly painful it is to read through the final book because of all the history and medical explanations? Well, this was no different. As the longest book in the series I had an incredibly tough time making it through at least half of it. The details of the plague, the mutation, the cure just seemed to drag on page after page. After skimming or just completely skipping portions in the middle I was able to finish this book with a satisfying, yet fairly predictable ending. less
