review 1: This was a good story but just not that much romance in it. Janet is dating Mick who is a dragon Shape Shifter. When a dead body turns up near Janet's hotel, the town sheriff thinks that Janet has something to do with it. So Mick and Janet have to find out what is really going on. I skimmed through this one so not sure of all details and may have misjudged the amount of romance - but it just seemed more paranormal than romance.
review 2: 3.5 stars, a nice light paranormal romance. I love the desert setting along with the gods and ghosties it brings. Dragons play a bigger part in this one along with some other weird magics. I definitely enjoy Nash, the sherriff and his type of crazy more than Janet and her biker boyfriend, they were a bit too serious the entir... moree book this go-round, but it was good, quick and easy. I will keep reading the series. less
