review 1: This is a pretty ok book. I've read really, really good urban fantasy, and this isn't one of those. However, it certainly isn't bad. Not at all. The main character is a strong female, very strong. I like that Allyson James isn't afraid of making her character the most powerful person around. Most authors are. Of course, Janet isn't invulnerable, and can be killed, but...I don't know. I like it. It's not perfect by a long shot, but it is good enough for me to keep reading.
review 2: Not as thrilling as the first book, but still a good and pleasant reading.Mick's prolonged stonewalling informations was a bit irritating and I felt as it muffled my involvement in the plot.Interesting introduction of new characters, and very good twist in the finale! I didn't... more expect that: I was so sure Miss Dragon Council was behind all the ruckus!I missed some funny comment by the Mirror on the "show" he enjoyed at the dragons' mansion, and I'm still trying to undersatnd how Nash and Mick knew where/how so quickly find the girls on their (not so successful) night in Las Vegas... less
