review 1: This book is about hope and love and our ability to return to our Father in Heaven. He created the Plan of Salvation that makes it possible for us to do this. It is not the "Plan of Misery and Despair." Heavenly Father wants all his children to return to Him and has given us the means to do so. I really loved this book! It left me with a feeling of hope and love and the ability to succeed! Read it!
review 2: At first I thought the title of this book was a little on the prideful (and apostate) side. But I gave the book a try and was interested in his arguments. The subtitle: Evidence that the Plan of Salvation Works, is more of the direction the book takes. It doesn't leave out in the least our part in achieving the blessings our Heavenly Father has for us. It p... moreoints out the many wars and deaths that have occurred where so many children have died and already gained their eternal exaltation. I thought that was an interesting thing to think about. This book is set up to give a Latter-day Saint confidence that as long as they are truly trying their very best to keep the commandments and ordinances found in the restored gospel, they can be found worthy of blessings. less
