review 1: This was a sweet novella and I listened to the audio version, which is very good. However, I'm not sure why the author choose to give one of the MC's firestarter powers, especially since we are left with no idea how or why he has them. It really didn't add anything to the story; it would have been just fine without it. Christian and Tanner are a lovely couple, but not a lot of backstory about them. I enjoyed their story. review 2: Christian is able to control fire. Tanner is making a living as a male escort to pay off his late father's debts and to keep his home from being foreclosed. After seeing Christian in a bar, Tanner decides to get out of the escort business but his boss won't let him. I enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. It was action p... moreacked. I liked Christian and Tanner. I also liked how the book went back and forth between the two so you knew what each was thinking. less
