review 1: Once I began reading this book I couldn't quit. The suspense and vivid imagery captured my imagination and the race to find out the end was on. Geared toward the older teen/YA audience the story line follows a 17 year old on her journey to battle her own demons which are very real. Because of the graphic details I would recommend this for older teens who will readily identify with Kenzie and the friends she discovers through this journey for her soul.
review 2: This book is not for me. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was excepting the average paranormal romance, girl meets boy, they fall in love far to quickly to be realistic and then the happy ending. What I got was a very religion based book, that at times felt dam right uncomfortable to re... moread.I have no problem with Christianity or any other religion for that matter. I just think that the author was overly blunt with her comparisons of good and evil. I don't see life so clean cut. I therefor could not relate to the characters or the plot in any way.Isaac and Kenzie where a big problem for me. They had very fewscenes together and then they were in love? Big issue. It was rushed and felt very forced. There was also no character development. This could be due to the story being so short? I would have liked to have know more about kenzie's past, more about how Isaac's brother died and most importantly had time to get to know Isaac. less
