review 1: Historical romances can be either a hit or miss for me and this was a hit! Bray I loved that man he's so passionate and apparently Louisa is the perfect girl to put all that passion into, "open your mouth and taste me, Louisa," he whispered. Unsure what he meant, she stiffened. "No, don't shy from me now." I mean he's just so full of passion that his clothes don't come off all the way, "I wish we could, but there is no time for me to undress tonight. We must make do. Help me unbutton my trousers and slide them down my hips." Having five younger sisters make for awkward situations especially for Bray when he's not used to having all the little women around, "damnation," Bray mumbled under his breath. He'd barely gotten his trousers buttoned." I really enjoyed this b... moreook.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. It is the first in a series. From the beginning it captivated my attention. Bray Drakestone, heir to the dukedom of Drakestone and also a member of The Heir's Club had indulged in a night of drinking with some of the other members. A curricle race took place and an accident occurred which left Bray making a reluctant promise to a dying friend. The promise was to marry the oldest of the dying man's five sisters, Louisa. There were several witnesses to his request of Bray, which all encouraged him to give his vow, so the man could die in peace.Louisa Prim, had not only lost her father, mother, but also the brother her and her sisters adored. Two years had passed since his death and now at her doorstep was the man who had been involved in her brother's accident. The same one who had written her an obligated, half felt marriage proposal to keep his vow to her brother, which she definitely wanted no part of.These two have a lot to sort out. It was a very good story. The only thing I questioned was the title of the book. It did not fit the story.I received this as a gift and like I said before it captivated me. I look forward to reading and reviewing the next book in this series. less

I really enjoyed this book! It was a nice light-hearted old-school regency romance.

A disappointment. Not much character development and they were too modern.
