Our Philippine Research professor required the class to make a research paper on something related to the subject. Since it’s a reading and writing subject, we decided to make a bibliographic research on a Filipino/a author. We had lots of suggestions regarding on who to make a reseach of and we all agreed to do one on Beverly siy ♦
Beverly “Bebang” Siy
The 38-year old mom is the author of it’s a mens world, it’s raining mens, mingaw, and a whole lot of other books and poems. She is known for her charismatic way of writing that will surely captivate her readers!!
The contact
We tried to get ahold of her through her Facebook page. Then we got a reply from an administrator saying it’s best if we contact her thru email
So we did.
We were excited when we got a reply and a whole bunch of emails were sent back and forth, until finally she agreed to meet us for the interview.
It was decided to be held at Cultural center of the Philippines (at the time, we thought it was central colleges of the philippines and we actually headed there first!) Lucky for us, Bebang was so understanding and was even sorry for the confusion

We finally arrived and was now all thrilled to meet the one and only!
The place was really huge and was really artsy if u ask me. It had all these paintings up, and gigantic chandeliers to make it a whole lot elegant and i actually felt like im in some kind of palace (not the fancy ones, but more like the malacañan)
Bebang appeared from her office and was all smiles
