review 1: Fear, according to the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English is a strong unreasonable fear of something. It seems that most fears are only reasonable to the one experiencing them.The review is going to be just super short comments on each story. Thanks so much Sabil (le lovely roomie) who lent me this book.1. Permainan- Scary and cool.2. Patung- The scientific explanation for the night terror just kills it. :/3. Senja Oh Senja- My head hurts. Its like Freddy Krueger played with a time turner.4. Komplot- It was disgusting yet interesting. Sad to say that I've watched all those icky images.5. Telefon berbunyi- Funny.6. Musuh Yang Nyata- Creepy as heck. Here I thought Khai was a night in shining armour and the mum was dead.7. Bilik F-0131-4- I dislike endings like that. ... moreWhen the stories are just dreams or simply illusions.8. Aku Bersamamu- This has starts from being a book about phobias to something out of a horror movie. I expected Kalisha to be a ghost. Not both. Eek. But appropriate title. 9. Mencari Akhir- It was good of him to help her but I'm conflicted because he did promise not to change her. At the same time her realisation comes easily someone with a phobia though. Let's chalk it up to love shall we?10. Makna Hidup- We live like we're never gonna die, that's why death seems so unexpected to us. But love the quote "Life is not simply breathing." Some people die at 25 and buried at 75. *sigh* probably me in 5 years though.11. Nama Aku Nami- This is what I'm afraid of. People convincing you that your fears are illogical and in the end they can kill you.12. Mati- The only thing you should fear is fearitself.13. Keras- So-so14. Takdir- Instead of fear of marriage, it’s more towards fear of commitment15. Keris Si Iblis- In the end, the ghost didn't really get her revenge. I was so hoping she would but alas it was not meant to be.
review 2: Aku suka covernya..sedikit kelainan & UNIK!!! Inilah DOODLES...Semuanya ada 16 cerpen yang terkandung dalam novel FOBIA ini...ada nama2 besar seperti Attokz Dikulgai, Muhammad Fatrim, Dayang Noor & Faizal Sulaiman & kebanyakkan yg lain adalah nama2 baru...Malangnya permulaan cerpen,Permainan... aku tertanya2 apa perkaitan dengan FOBIA..tetiba si ayah mengamuk membunuh isteri & anak perempuannya...gara2 permainan zombie...bukan itu sahaja, penamat cerpen untuk novel ini Keris Si Iblis dalam kategori seram pun tidak mencapai kepuasan semaksima yg mungkin pada aku...Fobianya...entah!!!Antara yang menarik & d best bagi aku cerpen Makna Hidup...kisah thanatophobia di olah dengan berkesan buat aku...Cerpen Panggil Aku Algojo, banyak penggunaan perkataan2 baru bagi aku...Cerpen Komplot, Bilik F-0131-4, Nama Aku Nami & Keras masih boleh di terima & di hadam...Manakala cerpen yang mengundang sedikit tawa pada aku adalah cerpen Telefon Berbunyi...Cerpen Takdir, ceritanya biasa2 sahaja tapi di sbbkan nama2 watak tersebut ku kenali...agak sedikit kelakar...Boleh di katakan ada 2 buah cerpen yang berkaitan dengan HOSPITAL..kebetulan barangkali...Keras & Aku Bersamamu...Aku mengharapkan ada cerpen drpd Khairul Nizam Bakeri juga...hampanya tiada!!!! less
