review 1: Not a very good choice for OBOC, especially in this pretty conservative area. The stories, while interrelated, were too disjointed to make any sense of it, especially for having discussions. I'm not sure what the other discussions could be about anyway: infidelity? end of life? Didn't people say they wanted a "happier" book? I also fell asleep while reading it, which is pretty rare for me to do. I did enjoy the short story format, however, I just wish it was executed better that I could follow along.
