review 1: This is a slightly more challenging book to follow along even with if you have some sewing knowledge under your belt. There are fewer drawings than other books, but if you have the knowledge, the directions are written well enough to follow along with. The patterns for all projects are included and clothing in sizes 0-3mos, 3-6mos, 6-9mos & 9-12mos. Projects include: unisex kimono-style PJs, modern crib set with storage pockets, diaper bags, building blocks and toys.Sewing level: mostly intermediate although a few advanced beginner projects I think.

... morey knows how garments should be put together._________________________________________________Reporting back 8/2/09: I have gotten a lot of use out of the pattern for PJ bottoms, which is now my go-to baby pants pattern. I had to adjust the pattern to make the pants roomier in the bottom (to accommodate cloth diapers) and shorter in the leg (they're for very long-legged babies), but this is a great basic pattern, and easily justifies the cost of the book. However, don't even bother to read the instructions. less

So far I've only made the little Kitty and the blocks. Love to just look at it!

Totally cute! This reminded me of my dream of sitting around sewing all day.
