review 1: A moving story of family dynamics and dysfunction. My heart ached for Carter (jr); well, Carter Sr. too. Although I understand the twin connection, I had difficulty with Zeke's shallowness, and weakness. I'm guessing some found Zeke strong and complex. The Lost Saints of Tennessee is a good look into the dynamics of a mid century family who can not or will not learn from their mistakes. Even with a now and again glimpse of joy and happiness, overall it was a sad read.
