review 1: Downloaded this boxed set on my tablet. The seven books are "Masquerade" by Janette Rallison, "Running Barefoot" by Amy Harmon, "The Reluctant Bachelorette" by Rachael Anderson, "Pride and Precipitation" by Heather Horrocks, "My Own Mister Darcy" by Karey White, "She Owns the Knight" by Diane Darcy, and "Heart of the Ocean" by Heather B. Moore.I really enjoyed each book. Good, totally clean romances written by LDS Authors. I will look to read other books by these authors in the future.
review 2: All of these books are awesome! They're clean, fun, and completely romantic. I had read a few of them before, but reread them in order in this set and loved them even more the 2nd time. Masquerade follows recently divorced Clarissa as she takes a job as a nanny to sin
... moregle dad Hollywood star Slade. He takes her and her daughter to Hawaii for a week to watch his 4 year old daughter while he tries to land an agent. The character blunders and wit as they get tangled up in chaotic scenes was great.Running Barefoot was even more the 2nd time I read it. I love all the musical lessons about composers and the literature reveals that Amy Harmon is known for. Her Navajo stories are amazing. I love Samuel and Josie—they are my best friends after reading about them. The way they fall down, get up, fall down again, and still keep picking themselves up is inspirational. The Reluctant Bachelorette is a cute, funny story where the main character gets tricked into being in her local Bachelorette show. The worst is that the man she's loved for over a decade comes back to town and she volunteers him for the show (before she knows she's the main star). Hilarious clear to the end.My Own Mr. Darcy gives Elizabeth the dream she's always wanted when she meets her own Mr. Darcy. But she feels confused when she keeps finding herself thinking about her friend, Chad, instead of her dream. She must decide whether to go after her dream...or change it.She owns the Knight was an awesome story. Gillian is magically transported back through time to 1205 A.D. and finds herself in the possession of a knight who has demanded a new wife after his first wife tried to murder him. When he sees her ring with the Corbett family crest on it, he believes she has been sent to satisfy his demands. Gillian wonders if she’s walked into a Candid Camera set up or some Medieval play gone awry. She plays along with the handsome knight, but soon feels her heart twisted as love begins to bloom. Such a great book. I couldn’t put it down. Heart of the Ocean is a great story with a little ghostly intervention thrown in that makes it spooky at times, and darn right thrilling at others. I really like Eliza and Jon's story and the mystery of the ghostly voice that haunts them. less
