review 1: This is very wonderful book about life and love and lost....it made me realize a lot of things and made me grateful that I chance upon this book. Reading a book like this is like finding a treasure that feeds the heart and soul. I read this book slowly, a couple of chapter each day which I think works great for me since This book is not meant to be devoured but chewed slowly..I loved the Navajo stories , the stories about the composers and musician...I loved everything about this book!
review 2: This book was quietly beautiful. It's a coming of age for both chatacters. It's set in the same town as The Law of Moses and I wish I had read this first just so I could have paid more attention to these two in that book. The stories are at all related but you do get a ... morecouple glimpses of them. I liked that this was low angst but high on feelings. I never wanted the story to end. I could read about this relationship all day and it wouldn't get old. less
